happy new year (again)

it's the year of the monkey. ryan hates monkeys, especially the ones that rollerskate, smoke cigars, or play hockey. i'm ambivolent. i do hate hockey-playing monkeys, but what about the 'i'm a believer'-singing monkeys?

year of the monkey is supposed to, according to chinese folklore and predictions for this year, "bring many new and unconventional ways of doing things. The motto of this year should be: 'Don't take No for an answer!'" let's hope so, (both in terms of getting caffeine sunday's collective foot in more doors this year, and in terms of the crazy world we all are living in) and also hope that it's a successful monkey year, at that...

happy chinese new year.
